We accept essay and article submissions from students under the age of 25 encompassing all races, genders, and geographic locations. Articles should focus on recent, relevant humanities/political topics. We feature opinion pieces and articles from all viewpoints and political backgrounds.

Essay Submissions

ColoredVoices publishes exceptional essays on the topics of public policy, race relations, political science, international relations, global studies, and other humanities-related disciplines. Essays can be submitted by any student under the age of 25, and essays written for academic classes are accepted. Work submitted can include short essays(400-1200 words) or comprehensive scholarship(1200+ words).

Article Submissions

ColoredVoices accepts articles ranging from a variety of topics and time periods. Accepted articles can be less formal than essays; however, accepted articles will typically focus more on current events than historical information. If accepted, your piece will be published in our online journal with credits given.
